How is Viva Medical Different
Viva Medical brings together a team of Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Medical Specialists who understand that finding treatment options for certain medical conditions, can be difficult. This is especially so for Australians in rural or remote areas, or for people who cannot find treatments that work for them.
Do I need a referral?
No, you don’t need a referral for your initial consultation at Viva Medical. However, some treatment types may require a medical summary from your current G.P to be provided prior to your consultation. If referral to a medical specialist is required, this will be arranged for you.
How much does treatment typically cost?
All face-to-face consultations with our G.P team and Nurse Practitioners are bulk billed and zero out-of-pocket. Telehealth consultations are subject to a small out of pocket cost of $30. Additional charges will apply for service provision from Medical Specialists should that be required in any individual case.
How do I get started?
Getting started is easy. Simply enroll online. You can elect to receive your face-to-face consultation in person at one of our 2 locations OR via telehealth. For more complicated medical cases, referral to an appropriate medical specialist can also be arranged where appropriate.
Is there any obligation?
There is no obligation to receive any ongoing treatment. Consult with our medical team and choose what is right for you. You’re in control.
